Is there a commitment period of service?
The minimum commitment period for weekly general cleaning is 1 month. Additionally, clients have to notify us 1 month before a termination of services.
What happens if I want to change the appointment last minute?
We would highly recommend our clients not to change their booking last minute as slots are only subjected to the cleaner's availability.

However, if such events do happen, you are required to inform us a minimum of 5 working days in advance. Failure to do so will result in no refund/credit note. Thank you for your kind understanding.
What happens when the cleaner does not show up?
Such cases do not happen often unless the cleaner took a Medical Leave. We will either postpone the session to another day or a replacement cleaner will turn up.
Does the cleaner work on Sundays & PHs?
Unfortunately they do not work on Sundays & Public Holidays! Also, we do not charge clients if the cleaning services is not performed (Eg. We do not charge on PHs). We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
What is Homely's General Cleaning rate?
We charge on a hourly basis. For one-time cleaning, it is charged $35/h on average & for weekly cleaning, it is charged an average of $24/h. However, it varies with your location. Contact us for an exact quotation.

What is the difference between home cleaning & spring cleaning?
General Cleaning service is split into one-time and regular cleaning. This is suitable for families who like to have regular cleaning done and maintain a good cleanliness level. Usually this will cover vacuuming, mopping and dusting of furniture surface & exterior, cleaning of bathrooms. Some task such as window grills, refrigerator, cooker hood will be rotated on fortnightly or monthly basis.

Spring Cleaning generally refers to a deep cleaning during spring or festive seasons. It usually involve cleaning areas not covered in your regular general cleaning and other packages, including ceiling & higher areas of the house, underneath & behind furniture and every corner of the house.

We recommend Spring Cleaning to be done every 6 months to maintain good hygiene at home.
How do I book a service with Homely?
We recommend calling/emailing us the necessary details: type of cleaning (spring cleaning? Weekly?), type of property (HDB/condo/etc.), no. of bedrooms, no. of bathrooms, preferred day and time. We will schedule for a site-visit or you can send us pictures before deciding on a quotation.

We will respond with a quotation in 1 working day. Upfront payment is required to secure a slot, and all slots are booked on a first come first serve basis. Hence, we recommend our clients to pre-book the session beforehand!
Does Homely provide window cleaning?
Yes! We do conduct interior window cleaning. However due to the safety of our employees, they are unable to climb ladders or clean exterior window panels.
Who will be providing the equipment?
Clients are to provide the equipment for General Cleaning, whereas Homely will be providing for the Spring Cleaning sessions.
What equipment will be provided for Spring Cleaning?
For basic items; trash bags, floor cleaner, bleach, CIF, glass cleaner, dishwashing liquid, hand-soap, vacuum cleaner, mop, pail, cloth, sponge, etc.
